I have an attached 2 car garage in Minnesota. I finished insulating it with rockwool. Now it's time for the vapor barrier..
When someone says stapling is good enough " because it's a garage" do they say that because there's a huge leaking garage door on one wall, so it doesn't matter anyway ?
Or is it actually going to cause mold/ moisture problems stapling only instead of acoustic caulk?
I'm trying to decide if stapling is ok, or if I really need to use acoustic caulk, and why?
I have a feeling i may screw up the acoustic caulk so am trying to avoid it if possible..
