Looks like Precision brand goes back to 1979 or so. Still in business, call them.

No idea how to date Starrett, except look thru catalogs to see when things were offered with that part number. I like to start about 1930, and skip around from there.



Value, I can buy all those for a buck or two at garage sales, so not real high to the average person. But probably big $$ online on eBay or Amazon.

I have two different labels on these Starretts. My guess is the barcode is newer.

I’ll check through some catalogs thanks. Trying to list them up on eBay. I didn’t figure enormous money but the name “Starrett” stuck out in my head. Couple dollars goes a long way :)

It’s used machinist metrology supplies.
It’s useful, but not really huge money.
Good for shimming fences and tooling were you need certain clearances.
Good for making custom tooling for quick setups. (Setting bandsaw guide clearances quickly)

Yeah I figure I’ll just toss em up in my shop clean out thread I’m about to post up. I have a price idea I think.
