Very nice. Turned out great. The only other thing that could be done would be to resurface the anvil portion with a mill or surface grinder.

VERY nicely done. I like the colors a lot.

P.S. I like your painted block walls. Very clean and nice looking in my opinion.
I'm biased though, I have the same thing in my garage extension and shop areas.

That is one of the best looking vises I have seen on here. I cant exactly pin point the reason why that is though. Great resto!

In the spirit of Halloween, I am going to reserect this thread. Just finished painting and greasing this after it came out of the electrolysis tank. I still need to replace the snap ring holding the acme screw on

I'm not sure if it will show up in the pictures, but the color is a light blue, pretty similar to the old lower units on Evinrude's.

5 1/2 inch jaws
39 lbs / with swivel base
