Starrett Steel/Vinyl Case

I want to buy one of these cases https://www.toolsid.com/starrett/120-series-steel-and-vinyl-slide-caliper-case-mpn-943.html?view=452332&gclid=CjwKCAiA9bmABhBbEiwASb35V49pUtKPT5yI9Y-jKbWbH4dgRUrU8lkQH9sR3BIQHTkA4VEdXsFf1RoCPvkQAvD_BwE and change the foam to fit my 85c dividers with caliper legs. Already measured it out and it should fit but I'm not sure what kind of foam they would use or how to remove the original foam without ruining the case. Any ideas?

Look for Kaizen Foam. Made to be pulled apart at different levels. Lots of vendors, some have pissed friends of mine off due to lack of flexibility in how the foam comes out.

Some have used urethane insulation foam and placed a cellophane wrapped tool into it to create the void. Never tried, but saw one failure from too much foam, over expanded. Was quite hilarious to watch.
