Start up on Radiant heat floor

So I finished up connecting all my fittings and filled the tank yesterday with the anti-freeze (closed-loop system) and have a couple questions. After hooking up the water line how do I know when the system is full, I had the purge line open when filling and had a line going to a bucket while filling for the air and any water to go into and I was filling it pretty quickly towards the end so I think it might be full but I can hear the water movng through the line like there is still some air in there. Also I installed an air-valve on top of the purge valve after but do I need to leave the valve open to contnue to let air out or do I just need to open it periodacally and wll water come through the air-valve.Hope you can understand what I am asking. You should be using a 50/50 mix of propylene glycol and water.

If you're running a low pressure system with an expansion tank leave the valve closed and just open it to vent the trapped air now and then. The valve will pass fluid once the air is out, so you'll want it closed most of the time.

After a couple ventings you'll find it takes months to trap any more air.

For what it's worth I'm in Calgary and running 50 percent Dow Frost
