After a year of fighting my neighbor, zoning board, engeneering, building dept. I picked up my permit and here we go.

Little bit of water to deal with

Went a little crazy with the demo, smashed the roof and walls in 20min and loaded it out. Then proceeded to start stripping the loam

After sat tring to dig for footings I made the call to hog it all out a stone the bottom. I will backfill the entire inside with 3" road base

The guy with the 3 car garage was in support. As you can see in the first pic my yard and one to the right flood and I offered to help fix his problem and he told me "do what you want on your own property", then I got a call from his lawyer. So I had an engeneer design the site with a retaining wall and stuck it to the guy. Its taken since the beginning of last summer to get threw all the BS. Payback is a ***** because we are currently getting 3"-6" of rain and his yard is filling faster then a sinking ship and I am not even close to done yet. I will have alot of pumping to do tomorrow.

Made some progress. Got the foundation poured and backfilled. Guys did a great job on the foundation, its spot on. Then the 10 wheelers started rolling, 200 yards of road base gravel compacted every 12" to the top. Insulation is ready to go in along with the pex. Got the mud all rough graded and its almost dry enought to drive on

He got his riding lawn mower stuck in the back yard the other day. I was ear to ear smiling. He then told me he was going to plant some grass to fix the problem. I replied "grass doesn't grow under water"
