Started my Barn to 3 car garage project

Hi Guys, this is such a great site!
I already know what to do about the header over the 16' door...

This is a barn I have that had 3 horse stalls and a finished 15 X 20' area, I gutted the stalls and I am removing a bearing wall and clear spanning it with 1 heavy post in the middle, I have the beams for that figured out...I hope.
I am now getting into excavating the dirt, compacted to rock hardness...
I plan on pouring a slab, about 6-7 yards.. Any tips?

The finished garage will be 36' X 26'... 1 9' door and a 16', I will be installing a sliding accordion style wall that will divide the end 15' where the 9' door is to use as a spray booth..

Gotta finish my 63 Chrysler....!

Any tips on preping and pouring slab, Im taking out about 12" from grade, filling with crushed stone about 8" and a 4" slab... Sound good?
