I have been putting this off for a long time. Time to start.
The pad was poured 6 years ago but needed a way to support everything.

Did the calculations and this is what it called for.

Mounted up the 2nd stage regulator and made the tie in.

Really dislike how far the vent needs to be from the unit but thats what code wants.

Thats all I have for now.

Looks like a nice job. Can you go straight up with the vent? That looks like something waiting to snag a mower.

My concern as well. Going to ask when he comes out for underground trench inspection.

I do generator jobs all the time and the job looks very nice. Do not take this the wrong way but you used a lot of material like all the electric strut and pipes that are unnecessary. We try to hide or bury the majority of the pipes with the regulator mounted on the pad and feed with 2" PVC with copper for your propane or Gas line . Your vent can be ran in the same ditch back to your tank area or around the bend hidden in a shrub . You can use flexible PVC gas line for the vent . We always use PVC for anything underground and switch to copper or Black iron above. Black iron always rusts so copper is your best for easy to work with and no maintenance.

Having a test port for gas pressure is good for startup and long term maintenance. Easiest way is to change out one of those elbows to a tee. Put reducer in extra port and keep plugged until needed. At same time doing this, you could be adding the drip leg.

Paint the pipe and fittings after all installed, even under the unistrut straps.

Also need an isolation valve.
