Poured the footings and started the block last week on my new garage. It will be a stick built 40x60 metal sided shop with 13'6"ceiling and a 15x22 office/bath area attached on the front. Hoping the weather sticks long enough to get it enclosed in the next couple of weeks. I already have a four post lift that will be moved out there, and ordered a two post lift last week to add to it. I have about 1250 sq foot attached garage to my house in town and of course I'm way out of room, but they wouldn't allow me to add anymore, so I bought an acre a mile south of town for the new place. It's in a commercial park that will be real quiet as the other buildings are owned by people like carpenters that needed cold storage for equipment and supplies, etc. Getting pretty pumped as I have been looking for years to buy something in town, and this guy shot me an offer I couldn't refuse.
