question .... roof sheeting ... builder said 1/2 in
in checking locally for options, I do not see 1/2in, can I use
15/32 or 19/32, and what do I really need? and why?

If your trusses are on 24" centers, I would go w/ the 19/32".

15/32 is what every one calls 1/2,
15/32 is what I used when I built my house,

yes, 24 in OC.
I asked the builder, he said 15/32 is commonly called 1/2 in,

now I see they have foil on one side of the 4x8 sheet,
any benefit?

Our old house did not have the foil and this one does (same climate) , Our attic in this house is cooler. For the $ I would go with it.
