Hey Guys -
Well - it begins. I'm hopefully going to start my renovation soon. I currently have a 2 car garage, breezeway attached, that was built in 1968.
The space is roughly 25' wide and 20' deep. I currently keep 3 cars in the garage, 2 motorcycles, my tool boxes and a canoe! It's crowded.
I just purchased another toy - and I'd like to keep it at home. And there lies the problem.
I'm going to try and fit 2 lifts in the garage - Bend-Pak HD-9ST. My two biggest concerns so far:
1) I have 8' ceilings in there right now. Going to have to re-do some rafters.
2) The roofline. On the right side of the garage (looking toward it), even with the rafters reconfigured, I'm still going to be tight on space.
I'll meet with an architect next Friday, along with my normal General Contractor to see if this will work.
I'm hopeful.
