Bottom rollcab is a 56" mastercraft maximum while the top red box is a procore. Most tools are either mastercraft maximum, pro point, powerfist, or chicago pneumatic, with some snap on, channel lock and various other stuff.

Nice setup. There are more tools in there than some of the guys at my shop.

Looking good DylanR!

Is that a cup-on led area light? If so, how do you like it?

Doing darn good for 17. You are light years ahead of where I was in terms of tool accumulation at 17.

It was in my early 20s when the serious money started flowing for tools for me.

Just keep doing what you are doing if you ask me. Not sure what line of work you'd like to pursue, but from what I understand, heavy equipment in Canada is a big step up pay wise from standard auto technician.

Good luck on your future endeavors.

It looks like you're off to a solid start tool wise! At 17 I was still sharing all of my fathers tools/equipment. I'm only a hobbyist so my collection is small by comparison. I'm curious to hear what line of work you're in.

Just regular automotive duty work. The odd heavy duty job on school busses and quite a few 3 ton grain trucks since were a rural farm shop. Its a small privately owned shop just outside of town and the guy that works there has took me under his wing as an apprentice. I love working there. Ive learned so many things. His son also apprenticed with him.

Off to a good start! At 17, I was still a total idiot... that may not have changed much as I approach 50...

That's awesome. I started wrenching as a apprentice also. It's good to get in there in a real world enviroment and with somebody who's willing to teach you. You're off to a nice tool start too, before you know it you'll need a bigger box lol. It's like one day you need them and the next you have to many. Good luck to you

That's a darn nice setup to start out with. I wish I'd have had close to that set when I started out as a mechanic forty plus years ago.

When I was started out at my first job in an auto shop I had borrowed some tools and a small tool chest from my Dad and was slowly building my set as I could. It took me a few years of working to get a decent set built up.
