So it's funny how things steamroll.
I bought a car that I always wanted. This has caused me to buy a nice Ingersoll-rand 5hp compressor. I got a screamin' deal on this thing due to a Tractor Supply screw up.
Now comes the ultimate....a lift. My garage ceiling is 127" or 10'7"s at its absolute max. It's only a two car garage so I'm a bit confused how much width I'm going to need. The door openings are standard...I believe 8'?
I'm willing to sacrifice the conventional garage door and all the overhead gear for something else, if I have to. Roll up doors are really expensive so I might do a swing out...something, whatever.
Now the question that has been asked so many times before. Which lift? I did a search and I'd love to have a Mohawk but the price is just catastrophic.
Also, just because I have the height, should I use it? I mean, I could certainly get by with a MaxJax and leave the door in place. Heck, maybe I could do that anyway. It would depend on how far from the front wall the lift uprights have to be.
