I've been shopping around for a new ratcheting wrench set. I currently have a Gearwrench capstop set that skips some metric sizes. Nothing wrong with them but I was just looking around. I saw on Amazon a Starwork brand, Taiwan made long pattern, 6 point ratcheting set, SAE and Metric no skip 8-19mm for $130.

It seems like a great deal but I have never heard of Starwork and I was hoping someone here might know something about them.
Here is a guy giving a favorable review of their wrenches. Part of me wonders if the original manufacturer will soon be making these for other brands. I might be more tempted if they came from a known brand but I am sure that would also come with a higher price tag. I have no connection to any of this, just looking for opinions on them.

Edit- Added another video of the same guy measuring the openings.

I've been wondering about their new 120 tooth ones. If you look at the design from the capri ratcheting ones to this 72 tooth one its similar minus the open end. If you look at the 120 tooth ones its spot on for the capri ones but with 120 tooth vs the 72 tooth of the capri. My guess same factory in taiwan just slightly different finishes and upgrades. Just don't want pull the trigger to be first one to actually see how it is.

You're right, if you zoom in on a Capri switch, its the same, tiny direction arrows and six point hex too. So likely same maker as Capri. I've added it to my Amazon shopping cart. I wonder if Capri will have an offering soon because their satin finish is really nice.

I noticed my Power Torque ratchet has the same selector switch as the Capri and Starwork wrenches. The same selector is also found on another Orielly's /Power Torque ratchet. If selector switches are exclusive to one manufacturer then this is encouraging that the Starwork wrenches are made by a reputable/known company.

Yeah the finish is not bad on the capri. Let us know if you get the starwork brand and which one you got 72 or 120, and how you like it.
