static phase converter question

i have a question about wiring my static phase converter.i see to connect l-1 and l-2 to the lugs on the converter,were do i connect the ground from the breaker panel and the machine? do i connect them together or to the converter box?

I grounded mine to the box just joined them all together. So far the electrician that's helping me with mine has not said anything so i`ll assume its right!

There should be a lug to connect the grounding conductor, the best thing to do is not to use a static converter since there is a 1/3 of HP loss & once the converter starts the motor, the motor is single phasing which is not good.
