Staying logged in.

I am wondering how to keep myself logged in for any period of time.

Right now it seems to log me out pretty quick when I am browsing the forum.

Couldn't find the settings in my profile to change the default if there is one.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Have you tried the "remember me" box when you log in?

I guess I assumed that was just a cookie thing and I have it set to clear everything when firefox shuts down so thought it wouldn't work.

garage journal has to save a cookie on your computer in order to remember you. I have firefox set up the same way, so I use IE or Safari for garage journal

Funny, I tried to find a solution to this today as well, it appears if you remain "unactive" for around 15 minutes, you get logged out. I thought "remember me" was for when you left the site or closed the browswer, when you came back youd be logged in ? If that is the case, the "remember me" does little if you get logged out long before you navigate away from the site. Most times if I reply to a post, Im logged out before I hit the "submit reply" button, it is a major PIA, I dont know of any other site I visit, that I log into, that boots me out 4 times an hour. Just to reply to this post, I had to log in again, and I well expect before Im done, I will be logged out again!???

Clicking that little remember me box is the ticket. Left it logged in and walked away for a long time. Was still logged in! Thanks.

Doesn't seem to be working for me using Google Chrome browser. Kind of a PITA, but I can deal with it unless anyone has any hints/ideas.......
