Steam Engine From Well Pump

I wanted to build a steam engine with enough power to turn an alternator to charge a battery. I used a Myers shallow well pump. Haven't built a boiler yet, but seems to run very strong on air.

I did a 8 part video build on you tube if anyone is interested in building one. Here is the final video with it running.

I love it. I have always loved steam power but I would never consider actually building one.
How long do you expect before you get the boiler built and tested?

May be a while, not sure if you looked at my you tube channel, but have a lot of projects going on all the time..
