We have been asked numerous times why we don't have a HiFLo coupler.

Stedlin does not offer what is commonly referred to as high flow (HiFlo) couplers per se. We make a point of not following the herd and selling couplers that use the European high flow plugs (V style).
We do offer a plug that is our own design that is high flow. To avoid confusion we call it "FULL FLOW"

It has several advantages.
No compromises have to be made to maintain compatibility with the common industrial interchange standard (M style).
Easiest connection under pressure of any high flow coupler.
Free rotation under pressure.
Both plug types seal properly on the barrel unlike other couplers.

If you are interested here is a video that demonstrates the difference in pressure drop of a few common couplers and plugs at a very high flow rate.

For those who care to know more about why we don't comply with the Euro standard you can read this.

It seems that some push to connect non high flow couplers perform just as well as high flow couplers when used with the Stedlin Full FLow Plug.
In this flow test a A,M,T coupler performs slightly better than a common high flow coupler plug.
The Hi FLo coupler accepts Aro, Milton and Truflate plugs but the Aro and Milton only partially open the valve inside the coupler and barely flow.
The Truflate works normally.

It seems the non high flow coupler is superior in every way to the high flow.

The Full FLow plug has the same body diameter as the common A,M and T plugs and is designed to work with PTC couplers such as the Stedlin and yet provide high flow performance.
The Hi Flo has a larger body diameter and is not designed with compatibility in mind.
