I have one of the steel carport type buildings with 2.5 inch square bows with
4'-2" between bows. the building is closed in on concrete and I would like your opinions on insulating. I thought about using 2" foil faced foam sheets 90 degrees to the bows walls and ceiling on lathe boards and putting a way for air to enter @ bottom off walls outside and vents @ peak because there is a small collar tye area @ peak.

not sure what you are trying to accomplish...with wanting a way for air to enter at the bottom and stay on the cold side and exit to a vent on the peak? Not much structure to hang boards on. How is the carport attached to the concrete, as if you make it too airtight (the idea behind insulation)...it may float away from the concrete, or try to

Picture would help
