Ok all i just recieved some steel material for doing the ceiling of my garage. Now that I have the material. I am wondering how do I attach to the trusses?

I would assume screws but where is the best place for them to go through on the peak or the valley of the steel? Do they sell special screws for this application? Washers?

Details..............Details..............Details..............Details..............
I need details.

Thanks Guys

Did the place that sold you the "steel" sell the screw that go with it? The screws should go through the flat serface that mates with the bottoms of the truses. Look on line and you'll find a suggestions for fastening the metal to the truss. The screws will have....or at least mine did....rubber washers under the head of the screw. Use a drill driver with a variable torq setting, as you don't want to pucker the metal by over torqying the screw. Good luck.
