Did you order the optional mounting method? Uses steel plates that bolt down to the slab along the sides and the steel screws to this? Much easier than building the gutter and mudding the steel into it.

There are lots of curing agents to use on cement. They are generally dust control sealers also. They are not resistant to oils and fuels however. I keep large sheets of corrugated cardboard under everything I have that drips any at all, or wherever I am working. Only way to "seal" the floor is to properly paint it, after the concrete has dried out, usually about 6 mos after a pour.

24x20 is tiny, I hope you simply could not afford more. If you could afford it, you should buy larger. What about doors? what did you buy?

Lots of information on lighting. Look thru the Garage Gallery and also do searches, Its been discussed to death, even recent on-going discussions are found.

Do you have permits to deal with? Have you talked to building inspection people to see if there will be any problems? We could ask all kinds of questions of you, but it would be easier to give us an idea of where you are (northern Texas, or South Dakota, or where?) and if you are in the city, the country, a subdivision, on a small tract, large tract, what kind of access to electricity, gas, etc you have.......

Tell us all you can, it will make answering questions easier.

Thanks for for your time And info. Sorry about limited details I ordered a Steel Master Building Structure 20 x 24 x 12 with end wall (you would figure that they would come with the building) On one end of the structure is a framed in 8 x 8 garage door opening also out of the kindness of his heart he gave me a service door unframed. I had to purchase the C-channel (anchoring) extra, but he (sales person) gave me a real good deal, all said and done it cost 5011.00 and that was just about my budget for the building. And as far as the concrete slab goes, had a local guy come over to look were I wanted to put the structure but he discovered a puddle, so he's checking on the wet land conditions on my land so it looks like I'm going to move it to higher ground (I'm in Southern NH by the way) I have 5 acres, I do have access to electric. Not planning on running water, the main purpose for this is to play with older muscle cars (Chevy Camaors) My time frame is late April early May. What I like to really know is how people mount things to interior metal structures. Sorry for being long winded
Thanks

I just put one up similar to yours. I bolted 2x4 to inside of steel, 3 runs, then put 5/8 plywood 7 ft high all the way around the inside. I put my own ends in, looks better than steel. I also used the channel for the base. I can give you more info on how to put it up easier then they say, just need 2 people to do it. I am going to have some pictures on my web site soon of the inside, just finished it up this week. There is some out side pictures at www.burgmantrikes.com Wayne-seatec

First thing I would do is make my cement pad about 6 in longer than they say, my building grew about 4 1/2 in and I had to add 2x6 pressure treated lumber to one end for the overhang. Put the steel channel down as you need it, so if your building grows you can keep up to it and not have to drill as many extra holes on channel. I would not use steel ends, easier with wood to put doors and windows in ends. Mine is Pioneer Steel, but the same as yours I think. Get some longer bolts to get steel together where it laps, then take out the long ones when you tighten the bolts and put in short ones. Wayne
