I bought two framing angles for a project that I ended up fixing another way. Got back to the house and was putting them up and the light hit the side of it and drew my attention to something. It says that it is zinc coated. If you look closely at the sides you can see two different materials. Do they only put the zinc coating on the outside portion of these? If so, is it safe to weld on the inside of it?
