Steel siding and soffit installation.

I'm installing steel siding and I am wondering if I should install the soffit first or the actual siding first? I was told to install the siding first then you won't need undersill at the top where it meets the soffit.

I'm installed horizontal steel siding.

When I installed my enclosed soffit and wall steel, there is a j channel that is screwed into the framing with stainless screws against the wall at the top. The soffit panel is under this against the building, and the wall steel fits up into the j channel.

We generally install the soffit first then put a J trim with closure up against it.
