Steel vs timber garage

I am looking to build a workshop/garage (approx 6 x 8m) in the backyard. The temps locally can get quite cold in winter - sub zero C and hottish in summer 30+ deg C. How comfortable would a steel shed be? What sort of insulation should I use.

Is insulated timber framed blue board or similar structure a better option for temp control?

I realise this question may have been asked before and I did use the search facility but was unsuccessful.

For those of you who are too lazy to convert the numbers, this is a 20 x 26 building, and temps no hotter than about 90F. Not sure what kind of metal building you are considering. If it is the type in this thread............

I'm not sure how you would insulate this building nicely. Possibly some foam sheets between the framing and then skin the inside over. Notice that Fl Javelin is in Florida where it gets HOT in a metal building in the sun, and his is not insulated.

Its mostly a matter of what you would prefer, and construction techniques related to the area you are in. It sounds like you are in Canada, and so you have frost heaving to contend with. I would suppose, from what I've read, that you have a choice of putting the foundation down to below the frost line, or building a floating slab and let it give with the frost heaves. Not sure how this works up north.
