Well these have been around for a while now. Has anyone actually used one long enough to form an opinion? If they actually work I feel compelled to own one, even if I definately don't need one.

I've had them for over a year and... with the exception of every once in a while forcing myself to use them I don't. They're really heavy and huge, and the backdrag is killer. They're built like a tank and I'd have no worries about reliability or longevity but... I don't think they really make sense overall.

If you still have to have them because they're cool, go for it! I bought them because they seemed cool. They are cool. They're just not a great ratchet overall I feel.

Also I am not a professional, so maybe someone who wrenches every day could give you a better idea. I work on projects from time to time and have a fleet of ratchets to choose from. These do not get chosen.

I saw one in person and I thought to myself "they could have easily made this small but didn't"

From the reviews I've read on here and elsewhere, they aren't all that great. Almost all complained about them being to big and bulky. I won't be spending my money on them any time soon.
