I did find a brief article on Steinadler some weeks back - can't seem to find it now. Seems that they were in business for just under 50 years before they ceased the manufacture of hand tools, spanners, etc. Looks like the name may translate as 'Golden Eagle'. There are a number of firms, unrelated, currently using that name, one is a hiking/ camping shop; another manufactures machinery which cuts large blocks of stone.
Here's my one and only Steinadler spanner, found at a 'trash and treasure' market. It's well used, the chrome plating is peeling (ouch !) but the machining marks are still on the
jaws. 18 and 19 m/m. Bound to fit something on the Jawa, but too big for the toolkit.
