ok - have the garage floor finished with VCT. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

now - I've got one step up into the house. It's a poured concrete step and with the house done and the garage floor done - it looks like ****.

was thinking diamond plate - but afraid that may be too slippery under the bet of circumstances.

was thinking VCT - but not sure it would look ok

any thoughts? What do you do for the steps into the house?

When we redid the office a while ago, the salesman brought some vct diamond plate that looked pretty cool. Best of both worlds!

As for me, I'm cheap so I'd use whatever I could find at habitat.

The entire point of diamond plate (assuming you are talking about the real sheet metal variety) is that it isn't slippery....it later morphed into a cool construction material for other stuff.
