Who likes stickers on their tool boxes or anywhere else around the shop?
Some guys get pretty nuts with em..My buddy is sticker nuts, he gets stickers for stuff he never used before..Now If it was a cool sticker I would probably consider placing it somewhere.

Personally I dont really care for manufacturers stickers. I have two a silhouette of the girl like you see on truckers mudflaps and a American flag sticker..Well I had a Schwinn homegrown Sticker, but it wasa cool sticker and I was a avid Schwinn homegrown mountain bike owner and rider.

I'm actually in the middle of the road, I have a few car badges and car show plates that I have attached to magnets. I can move 'em or remove 'em if I need. My fridge gets most of the actual stickers in my garage. But I don't just put anything on there, either

+1 on the poll.

In the meantime, my answer is, "hell will have to freeze over before I'll put a sticker on my tool boxes." Same goes for my car and truck, but an appropriately-themed refrigerator magnet on a tool box could be OK.

My old Mastercraft box had stickers. Not a lot. Mostly from parts retailers if they sent them with the parts. I did have a couple of extra motorcycle and snowmobile stickers on there as it was what I was into at the time. Can't bring myself to put any on my new box though. From now on, they either go on my storage cabinets or on the garage fridge.
To each his own but for me, no. Not anymore, anyways.

HELL YEAH! every tool box NEEDS stickers. I just like the look of the old style 60's toolboxes covered in hotrod stickers. Im not big on the "hospital look" toolboxes soI don't care if I had a 5k snap on box...it will have stickers on it!

If a 'Cherry Bomb' sticker can make a Vega go faster, I'm sure it will make my cart faster too.

Unless they pay me to advertise for them, no manufacturer stickers on ANYTHING. I even make car dealers take their stupid dealership badge off when I buy a new truck.

Yes.

Why the heck not?

Things that may make me not care:
My box was 400$. Not 4000$.
I don't polish tools all day, and I certainly don't wax my tool box either!
It's a STICKER for pete's sake.

I bought a toolbox last month that had stickers already on it. Some were in bad shape so I have been trying to replace them.

My fridge might get a variety of stickers, emblems and magnets, but the toolbox stickers must be special!

No fridge in the current garage, but it if I had one that would be where the stickers go. If I ever buy a new expensive box, I would probably shy away from them. I try to keep the stickers un-cluttered, but have them on both my craftsman and lista box.

Always something...

Nope, don't like them. Looks sloppy to me. To each their own though. Interesting the the poll shows almost identical numbers for and against.

Middle of nowhere.
I had stickers on my first couple of Snap-On boxes. Little did I know that the stickers are a limited run. So when I traded the box I lost the stickers. After that they went into a file box. Home boxes with out any chance of trade have stickers. Kinda of fun to look at them and remember how and when I got them.

Guess I'm getting old!

I used to put decals on my boxes. I have some water slide ons from the 50's and 60's that I'm kinda proud of. Used to keep a manila envelope full of them.

I have a new 42" rollaway, black, and it won't see any stickers. Never on small individual boxes either of which I have a couple dozen.

Doo doo... I didn't realize you could go back and add a poll to this thread! Sorry for making a second thread with the poll.

That said, I like a few decals of brands I truly use and support. Keep it clean, though!

im an all or none type of guy. when i had one box, it was covered with stickers and car emblems. now i have a few tool boxes and will be stripping the stickers off that one and repainting them all to match soon. no stickers after they all match, may do a sticker board like an old hood or something hanging up somewhere but not on my boxes again.
