What’s your opinion and let’s see some pics! Tool company stickers or other stuff?

personally no but have seen a tatty finish box revived by a tapestry of stickers applied with thought which looked pretty amazing and cheap way to get a finish .

Devalues the box likely. Not a tool box but got this beer fridge for $20, likely could have got it free. Guy just wanted it gone

I noticed younger guys do it more, especially with cheaper boxes. I don't myself, I don't even have any on my vehicles.

Definitely not! If you have to, stick them on a small piece of sheet metal and use magnets to attach. I hate it when I see a box for sale loaded with that ****!!

I have a lot of stickers on my garage box but all of the are mounted on some of that flexible magnetic material so I can take them all off at a moments notice.

It’s your box so YOU can do whatever you want.

For myself, no.

Yes, but limited to the inside lid of the top box, nothing on the outside.
JMHO

I think they come off pretty easy with a heat gun/lighter fluid.. so who cares. My home box is covered with them..kinda adds to the redneck, beer drinkin, bocephus, vibe at the garage , fox news watchin bar. But my work box has none..like the professional look of a clean box there..

I do, but mostly just because my father did, and I have his toolboxes now. So I continued the tradition. His stickers weren't tool stickers though, they were local business stickers.

I put them on a magnet so i can peel them off if i want to put them on something else or if i get sick of them.

I agree with no stickers on the work box if it's visible to the customers. I think clean is professional. Same goes for the shop.

Home box, meh, whatever. Sometimes it fits right in.

Hardhats, hell yeah. OSHA be damned... lol

I almost didn't even go look at my box when I saw all of the racing stickers on the Craigslist ad. Showed the ad to my wife and she commented it was going to be a lot of work to remove them.

Went anyways and nearly ten years later I still have the box and haven't removed a single sticker. They just don't bother me as much as I thought they would.

It's likely going to the cabin once we get a shed or garage built and the new home box won't have any.

No stickers for me. I have spent too much time removing them from used boxes. Often they do not come off cleanly or the exposed paint has faded. I have tried heat and all sorts of chemicals. The worst was the guy who decided to line his tool box with masking tape and stickers. After 20 years, words do not describe what a pain it was to clean up.

I did the same thing. I like the look but not the permanence.

On my big box at the house I don't put any on it. My HF cart has a lot of various racing stickers on it.

My work box gets quite a few on it, mainly vendors and just stuff I thought was funny.

I have stickers on the two old metal storage cabinets that hold junk in my garage. Mostly because without them they looked like ****. My tool boxes don’t have any stickers on them.

The box in the garage does but the box at the day job doesn’t. It does however have pics of the wifen kids and a few bikes and veedubs I’ve built under the lid held on with magnets.

My mechanic's boxes are covered with racing stickers.
I did it when I was 18 and just getting into racing and wanted everyone to know it.
I wouldn't do it today, but don't have any plans to try to remove them.

Not a pro wrencher, occasionally do carpentry for friends & family.

Have a small roller stack at home which is covered in stickers. Most of them are music related...no bands mostly gear companies. Rally box with the instrument tools is the same.

Must be my punk rock DIY youth keeping some teeth in it.

I think they are neat and enjoy the historical aspect on others boxes I have acquired over the years. Doesn't have any impact on what I would pay or anything.

My box at home has a few on it because they were there when I bought it used. I haven't added any, but it hasn't bothered me enough to take them off either.

I don’t need to worry about “resale” with my US general boxes at home. They get the occasional cool sticker. I’ll have them a long time. No ragerts. :)

yes. i dont mind. and can't wait till the sticker box gets here.
house parties - women are attracted to kitchen, for girl talk.
guys, wind up gathering in the shop, to drink beer, cuss, joke, discuss. stickers are a discussion point, along with the other stuff hanging on the walls
