So I bought a new air hose for the compressor a couple months ago at Autozone. It was real stiff at first and after a while I was hoping it would relax a bit. It has not. Its a real pain in the **** to roll up especially when its cold.
Anyone have any tips or tricks to help it relax a bit?

Buy better hose. The cheap PVC hose is worst when cold.
A quality rubber hose (or polyurethane, if you're looking at a coil hose) is best.

Look for low temp hoses (not rubber). I use Tundra hose and it's limp as a noodle in sub-zero temps.

Dump it and get a rubber hose. I've had great experiences with my Goodyear rubber air hoses (made in USA) from harbor freight. I have a 25' and 50'. Both have been great.

give it away and buy a FLEXZILLA!!! Replaced all my air hoses with them and they are soft even in the dead of winter.

+1.

My PVC hose turned into basically solid pipe in the winter. The FlexZilla rocks. Only issue is the cool green rubber jacket looks like **** when it gets dirty and is nearly impossible to clean.

I tossed an orange pvc hose yesterday. It was new and wouldnt uncoil even after I hung it front of the furnace for a while. Took the couplers off and in the trash it went. I have some black and red rubber hose thatsclose to 20 yrs old and as good as when it was new. Dont know where the orange **** came from.

Thats what I was afraid of. I had an old Senco rubber hose, but it started to leak and I picked this up with some bonus bucks I had at The Zone.
I will be sure to get a rubber hose, or Flexzilla like recommended above.
Thanks guys.
