I've not seen the $179 price I paid several years for my MS170 ago ever move but I saw today it has been DSRP discounted to $159. I visited a few Stihl dealers' sites in other states and they say $159 also. Just pure, reckless speculation but I wonder if this model is being discontinued? Oh well, mine's a gem that runs like a top.
