Stihl MS211 problem

I put a new carb on it last year and a new fuel filter today. Problem: It first starts fine and revs fine and runs good. Shut it off and try to restart it a while later, it starts fair to poor. Once running, you have to go very easy on the trigger because it goes bla, bla. Once it clears itself it revs fine and runs good. I tried every method to adjust the carb including the Stihl method. Any ideas?

I run Sea Foam in all my gas cans and it seems to work well because my stuff always starts up with very few problems. I have many small engines as well, way too many. It sounds like you might have some crud the carb. When is the last time you put a new plug in it.

When you say, once running, you have to go easy on the trigger because it goes bla, bla - is that all the time, or only when really hot ? That often indicates your idle mix is too lean. Which could be crud in the carb, or the needle needs further adjustment. Have you removed the plastic limiter? (assuming the replacement carb has a limiter)

Although, I have to say that my MS192TC benefitted HUGELY by opening up the muffler and advancing the timing. It always "went bla, bla" when I jammed on the trigger, and now the thing rips like a saw 50% larger. Well, maybe not 50%, but it does run one heck of a lot better.

It seems to go bla,bla when it is warm ,on a re-start. I have been cutting maybe one minute when I turn it off. I set the L at 1 turn out (No limiters on the new carb).
