I found this Stiletto all metal hollow handle tool this morning. There are 5 bits in the handle but I am sure it originally had more. I have owned dozens and seen hundreds of the wood handled variety but few all metal ones and I think this is the first Stiletto brand I've run into . Anyone have an old Baker and Hamilton catalog that shows this tool?

Nice find. I'm sure the guys who follow the thread dedicated to Stiletto tools would love to see it as a contribution to their thread. Stiletto are kind of uncommon, so the thread goes dormant mostly, and it could use a boost. I don't recall seeing one posted there before, but I could be wrong. Only one way to find out. Just click on the Stiletto link in the A-Z Index of threads in the Sticky.

I've got one that looks just like yours, except it is marked H.S.B.&Co., for Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company. As well as OVB, for Our Very Best. I did a little reading about them and they were one of the Big Guys, back in the day. I tried to find a designated thread on the forum to share this tool, but failed... so, I'll post it here!

I have 2 Dunham Carrigan and Hayden at hand ('35 & 63), but can't find my Baker Hamilton. A bit of a crisis here, but I think mine is a '65 version, so may not be in there anyway.

These 2, and HSB were all pretty much the same, large regional hardware distributors. I'd love to find out whose products they were putting their name on.

A friend of mine gave me a box of tools to keep or to dispose of.
I planned to give them away.

The box was, for the most part, comprised of rusty Taiwan stuff.
But in the box was a pair of Stiletto lineman pliers...
Looked like a well made pair of vintage pliers
Knurled handles...
Hmmmm. Stiletto?
Never heard of them.
