Still hot in Florida

Hey everyone. Great site. Have already learned so much.
Waiting for the first cooler weather of the season here in FL later this week so the garage can be useable again. Good time to join in and get my projects on track.

Welcome, still hot in Florida huh. I heard on the news tonight there is a chance of snow for us on Wednesday. My weather man can just bite me.
What kind of projects you thinking about?

Put some AC in the garage. There's a few threads on here about mini splits. I put in 2 window AC units. Not really efficient, but they're not on for too many hours, either. I calculated it costs $0.25/hr to run them. ROI on a mini-split is just not there.

Unfortunately, summer is nasty here too. But it has started to cool off the past week.

A month later in the year and it still is in the mid 80's in Florida. Hope it cools down soon so we can enjoy the garage more!
