I purchased another Blackhawk Porto-Power lot the other day (s-100) and it came with a ton of attachments. I’m scratching my head with a Hydraulic unit that was included, the model tag reads “AB 85”, I believe it’s 4.5 ton capacity, It’s a essentially a Bottle jack, but instead of having a flat base it’s made to fit a round surface. It has a fairly small working extension limit, so I feel it’s something specialized, but doesn’t match up with any of my literature. I’ll follow up with some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks

hmmmm....
I can run another search on the web and see if I can dig up anything else but I was planning on going mushroom hunting in the morning, so probably be gone all day tomorrow (Tuesday).

Silly question: is it bundled in the PF catalogs you weighed in on yesterday?
Yep, I believe I hit the majority of companies that have shared tooling over the years. I even searched a wide variety of search phrases to catch anything obsolete.

Well I’ve exhausted all my personal connections and spent more time than I want to admit scouring patents with No luck. I can’t help but think that whatever application it was designed for, it either didn’t work very well or the PO didn’t use it much. It doesn’t show hardly any signs of use, the Ram head looks like it’s never touched metal, the release valve has the same appearance.

Chances are someday a Member will join up with the entire setup, so take a Mental snapshot and send him this way when he gets here.

Thanks, I’d be interested in seeing the document source. I never found anything Blackhawk literature related, I did find axle straightening patents when I was scouring the webs, at thought it was a winner, but the base was a bit different and the overall stroke didn’t look right.

Thanks again.
