My mom had her 2004 Cadillac Escalade Stolen on boxing day 2 years ago from the Maple view mall parking lot here in Burlington, Ontario. ( just outside of Hamilton ). we contacted on star but they could not receive a signal from the car as it Turns out there is a plug or switch in the glove box that turns the system off!!.. Anyway when she contacted the cops from maple view mall they suggested she contact the police on the reserve and see if they can find it..
The next day they found her car driven into a bean field, Lucky we got it before they stripped it and burned it.. And it also turns out there is a towing company right across the street from the reserve that handles all the towing on it. ( they get a nice fee of 1000$ a tow ) When we contacted them to get her car out of the lot they weren't sure witch one was ours because they had a whole field of them
