So I'm.looking for A mini cabinet similar to the Akro 10144 cabinet. The ones with the mini drawers. Id use it for hardware and mini items. Ideally I'd like a metal cabinet the same size with mini bins like the Akro. I was going to get a Durham mini steel 30 drawer, but I won't have that much hardware to fill it. Just thought I'd ask y'all first.

The akro mini clear plastic drawers (64 I think?) are ok for organization, but it will visibly sag if all the drawers get loaded up. That said it still does its job, just looks under duress.

Decades ago I got tired of using old coffee cans and bought a full on metal rack and dozens of pull out plastic hanger bins, and have never looked back. Now I have my own private hardware department and seldom need to buy anything very often. I used to hate stopping what I was doing, shut down the shop, jump in the truck and run down to the hardware store for a couple bucks worth of fasteners.

I found some plastic hardware bolt bins at the local Habitat store for $5.00 per section and sliding small hardware bin holders for $4.00.

The stuff was donated to Habitat when a local hardware store relocated to more modern facilities.

We have bins we bought from a company called Farmer's Choice. They work really well. Dividers can be put in every drawers. I'm not sure of the actual brand of the boxes. I've never found one on any of them. We use them to organize all of our most used hardware.

I recently reorganized and relabeled them all

Start searching CL and local auction houses for these large Filecard cabinets.

I use the HF grey plastic bins to organize the drawers.

I hot glued dividers into the bins for the smaller stuff.

I have everything from #8 up to 3/4" stuff organized in this one cabinet. :)
