So I have 3 of these (2 HF "cheapies" and 1 Makita) I use them for grinding, cutting and sanding. I don't like to take the time to change the wheels for different jobs (call me lazy and the HF units were $10 new, the Makita a $5 garage sale find), but I'd like to build a holder similar to the ones guys have for air tools and cordless drills so they are easy to access when needed.

Thanks, Chet

A piece of 2" x2" x1/8" angle with one leg plumb with the surface, and that leg going up, works good to hang them by the wheel.

That's basically the most ingenious design I've ever seen for that many grinders. Well done sir. The only thing that could possibly make it better would be U shaped cut outs on the u channel for each grinder so the disc/wheel whatever securely holds the unit on the u channel.

I made this 8 grinder rack by attaching a piece of 1" square tubing to a 4' wide shelving unit. I drilled 5/16 holes along the tubing and cut 5/16" pencil rod into 8" lengths. I inserted them into the drilled holes and tac welded them there, then mounted the tubing to the shelving. The angle grinder arbor rests on the pencil rod. It will hold 7" grinders with discs mounted.

I've got this rack. For $20 it is great.
