Storage ideas for premade hydraulic hoses inventory?

Setting up my garage and trying to see what options there are to store premade hydro hoses for snowplows (I repair/sell plows as a side gig). Lengths are generally 32-42" long with some shorter ones 8-16". Coiled up in a drawer is how they are now but doesn't seem the best, but only other idea I had was putting them on peg hooks which seems worse. Would they "stand straight" if I found a way to 'trap' the fittings and let them hang? Would be easiest to see length that way...

We used to hang premade hydraulic and airbrake lines from the fittings on wall rack. Sort of like this.....

You can also use two zip ties. One for a hanging loop and one to tie the loop to the hose.
Hanging them made finding the right length a snap.

I had a metal "tie rack" with spacing to catch the fittings. It let me easily pick hoses by length, and see my stock, so I knew at a glance what was low.

Depending on the lengths you could either have a set of NPT caps or JIC plugs welded to the bottom of an angle iron or square/box tube and you hang them plus keep it capped from dust at the same time. You would have to have access either by ladder or tall enough so you could reach to install the hose to its mating fitting.

Matt_i - I also like your idea tho the hoses usually already come with caps so for those use I think faster to slide in but thats also a great idea especially for anything that needs to stay 100% clean.

I was going to suggest using zip ties with the mounting holes in them. The double zip tie would probably be simpler, cheaper and easier to do as finding the zipties with mounting holes can be difficult at times.

Put me in the camp of those using the double Zip Tie to hang them vertically from nails

take it on step farther and weld a lock washer to the caps and slide a hook through them to hang them.
you can also weld up old fittings to make caps.

I saw someone use a rake head for storing stuff like that, looked like a good re-purposing.
