Hello,
I bought a NewAge Products VersaRac (http://www.homedepot.com/p/NewAge-P...-Ceiling-Storage-Rack-in-Gray-40151/205003289) storage rack for my garage, but my joists aren’t cooperating the way I originally planned to mount.
Would it be ok to mount two of the storage rack arms to either 1) the joist that the garage door hangs from; or 2) the joist that the garage door opener and chain-beam hangs from?
Originally I had planned to go perpendicular to the garage door track but due to joist spacing I’m going to have to go parallel.
Thanks!
