How do you store heavy parts like 3rd members, knuckles, steel tabs, lockers, etc when do not put them on the floor????

Buy a 1,000 furniture dolly. They are normally in the size of a 2' X2'6" frames and come with nice hard wheels. You can then put a sheet of plywood on top and use the whole thing as a rolling table. I've used them for engine "drops" (air cooled stuff) and it's allowed me to move engines around with ease.

I love pallet racks
couldnt have as much stored and organized if I didnt have them.

flat rolling carts are great for stuff that you need to move around a bit but dont want to carry

3rd members get stored in a plastic bag and set in a milk crate
