I've been using a couple of the blue plastic bins for the air hammer bits & chisels I have, which is quite a few and they are not all that organized now.

How & what are you all using to store your bits? I'm thinking about some sort of tray at the moment.

I keep the smaller ones in a roll, like a wrench roll, but for air hammer bits. The long ones...they just lay in the drawer. A plastic silverware tray would probably work for a bunch of short ones.

I segregate them by normal/0.498, then pile them. They sit between my bushing press and wheel bearing puller. For space vs. number of bits, it's hard to beat the pile.

same here, .401" in one drawer, and .498" in the other drawer, and then just piled up.
