How are you guys storing your 8 foot ladders? I have a small size two car garage and need all the wall space I have for other storage. Does anyone hang a ladder from the ceiling in a way that the ladder is flush with the ceiling?
Thanks

Put a couple of "J" hooks in one rafter just far enough apart that you can slip the top rung into them. Hang a pulley block towards the other end a little higher in the rafters. Run some 1/4" line thru the pulley and either tie it to the lower rung of the ladder or put it on one of those big caribbeaner hooks.
Set the top rung in the hooks and raise the bottom of the ladder with the rope. Tie it off on the wall so the kids can't get to it...

Lots of examples of ladder storage with pictures in prior GJ posts.

Use Advanced Search . . . it's your friend.

Buy a $6 bicycle holder from harbor freight and use it for your latter.
Cheap easy way to get it out of the way. I also use it for my shop vac.

I have a 8' step ladder and a 10' extension ladder. I just lean them against the wall in my garage near the door.

X2. Or with a pulley system for a bicycle.
