I have some Christmas decorations that I mount to PVC frames (garland around the door, c7 lights around windows), and the more I get into it, the more I recognize that I need organized storage for them.
There are some pipe clamps from SDTC Tech that work good where I can fasten them to plywood of some sort, and the pipes and be popped in and out (though I do have to grind some of the plastic with a dremel with a grinding stone bit to be able to get a #7 or #8 screw head snug into the recessed hole). The pipes vary in length from a few inches to maybe 7' at the max. Then I can try to mount and label all the components of a frame so that I can try to store these compactly in shelf like manner.
Ideally I'd like to be able to stack multiple of these shelves together and they would "fit" together. I have six individual Kastforce KF1004 3-tier lumber rack installed inside the garage above the garage door (spans close to 20') that I can stack lumber on. Also considering hanging some of these kits below some NewAge wall mounted shelves that I have using VersaRac – Multi-Purpose Hooks. I also have the Kobalt K-rail where I could try to leverage a vertical approach as well as I have 11.5-12 feet ceiling. The main thing is to try to securely and compactly store these as components in a kit, and have a mechanism to stack kits together.
I have some basic ideas, but I'm sure there's some creative ideas I haven't thought of. Any ideas are welcome.
