Mine are in random racks but wouldn't mind something more uniform to hold them including the big boys

My only issue with vertical storage is the bigger wrenches hitting the bottom of drawer above. I suppose the bigger ones I could just keep laying flat

I'm still working on mine, improving things as I go. I have them setup to go small it large and large to small to be able to nest them together. I just wish my drawers were a little taller so I could keep going with the larger wrenches.

The nice thing about the Snap-On style with uniform "teeth" is that pretty much any wrench fits in any slot. You can cut them up and put them anywhere. You can go 8mm-22mm with one set and plop the next set in-line behind it.

Nice...so they don't have tiny little slots towards the end like others I've seen? I have 7-36 so keeping them in order with the small slots probably wouldn't work great

It also depends on the holder. My box in Mt pic I posted has very thin drawers and one set of wrench holders I have the angle was too much and they had that problem.

Did this for free using an old spool of solid copper wire. Double set for longer wrenches. You could use red for SAE, white for Metric, or whatever color you have lying around.

I'm a convert to hanging the Ernst rack vertically (the partition/bulkhead in my van), Have tried shadowfoam and draw organisation in the past.

I like my most used tools easy to grab quickly and on display in a specific place without the extra barrier of having to open a drawer or door to get at them.

Add it up over a year and you will spend hours opening and closing just to grab a 10mm wrench!!!

Spanners that get infrequent use live in a tool roll in a drawer (still organised and easy to grab but use up way less space)

I’ve always been a fan of old school wrench rolls…different colors for different sets. Then keep an extra “set” of constantly used sizes (5/16 through 5/8 in my case) on a magnetic rail for quick access.

Ernst racks worked the best for me. Easy to read the sizes but more compact than laying flat. I cut the drawer liner where the racks are and double sided tape in case of “spirited” drawer closing/opening

How do you like those Maximum flex ratcheting long box end wrenches? They look pretty sweet. You've got sets of SAE and metric all together from smallest to largest had me bugging out for a sec there. Thought for a sec there you had a set from something like 6mm to 24mm with no skips. I'm interested in getting a set like that but a cursory search didn't turn up any options for them here in the US of A.

6-24 would be nice! Could certainly use a 21, 22 and 24 to round it out. Love the zero offset flexes. The extra leverage and ability to sneak in between components makes them indispensable. They needed to all go in one drawer and too wide for that 26” box to go side-side like the combos. Might move the SAE guys once I get the larger metric sizes.

As for sources on these. I hear a lot of guys on here talking about Mountain or Icon for extra long flexes in the states. Not sure if there are any in this exact combination… Hard to believe we would have anything offered here you guys wouldn’t get first and cheaper :p
