I just watched Grease 2 over the week end. They used the shelter for a makeout location. Sooo.. along with your wife's rum and coke... make out supplies. If it is my last day....

Thanks guys, lots of great suggestions. Like I mentioned in my OP, I do have a DC TV with an external antenna. I also have the toilet situation covered with the needed extras. I have a couple of battery lanterns, DC fan, and as soon as a cable shows up, a surveillance camera on top of the shelter. I will secure backup copies of my important documents and computer files. It will be stocked with water, some sort of long life food, first aid kit, and a camera. I really don't plan on spending any amount of time in it when the sirens go off but one never knows with tornados in Oklahoma. My shelter is a 6x8 slant front buried partially in the hill next to my driveway so I'm confident it will provide me and my wife the protection from tornados. I'm still cleaning up the excess dirt from the installation but I should have it squared away within the next few days.
