Well I finally closed on my house 4/22, still haven't moved anything into the house, the garage is 22x19 primary function will be tinkering in when I find me a proper project to start working on.
House was built in 1961, originally built with out a garage, that's why it looks odd with windows in the garage
For the floor I plan on either acid staining or just doing a white epoxy.
I'm going to rip the ceiling out of the garage so that I can add a few rows of lights and also adding a attic ladder as the one that came with the house is maybe 18x18 in our laundry room, this will also help with running the wiring for the lights then I will sheet rock the ceiling back up and then insulate it once that is all done.
Next will be to rip the windows out of the garage and bedrooms, I will then install a sub panel in the garage to house all of the new breakers for lots etc I'm thinking dual outlets every 3-4 foot for my 120 needs through out the garage, I will install a 240v 50amp outlet on each of the walls and 2 in the front of the garage.

congrats on the new house, very exciting...

Looks like a lot of potential in that garage space, good luck with everything..

I would be sorely tempted to install huge windows and a sliding glass door on the wall shared with the house (where the existing windows are).

I'm sure, since the original wall was external, that you can't do a frameless glass wall, but surely you could put a big beam over the top of the wall and do some larger windows than existing.

only issue with that is that those are bedroom windows, my man cave room and my daughters room
