i have a 24x20 garage and was wondering does it matter if i have my 45k Mr. heater straight or angled. Straight will make the install way easier. If straight it will be facing directly towards the 16' wooden garage door (will be replaced with new insulated by next winter)
Temps are extreme in the winter. like weeks of -30f and snow from oct-mar

I'm no expert but all the ones that I've seen around here place them at an angle.

I would have to think it's due to circulation, less dead spots in the circulation pattern.

Just my 2 cents.

When I build my shop it will be mounted on an angle!

I agree go with the angle. You can manipulate the deflectors to reach more areas when the unit is angled.

Angled is definitely the way to go. You'll get more even distribution of heat vs mounting it straight.
