Strange Concrete Coloring

This house I just moved into was built in 2014. The original concrete that was poured for the sidewalk, driveway, and back patio all have this strange coloring and pattern on it. You can see it when its dry, but shows up better when its wet. Anyone have any idea what it could be from?

I'm not real concerned about it, just curious. Not sure if a power washer will take it off or not. Haven't tried that yet.

Thanks

Looks to me like someone did some chalk art on it. That's the residue from it. Probably will power wash off but may take some scrubbing with some cleaner to get it completely off.

All of the areas of concrete have this same coloring?

If so, then it would almost appear that the previous owners had the coloring put in it on purpose.

I can't imagine this would happen just on it's own. I think it actually looks pretty cool!
At least you have a look to the concrete that no one else has!

Yeah it almost looks intentional. I dont think its from chalk. I have two little ones and I am well versed in sidewalk chalk. strange for sure though.

Not sure about the blue, but the pink looks like the residue that rosin paper can leave if it gets wet. We had a dopey painter leave some on a new deck over a rainy weekend that left a pink mess.
