strike hold. has anyone used this stuff? i've heard some pretty substantial claims. saw some videos on their web site, www.strike-hold.com and the guy sprays the stuff on a light bulb on an extension cord and dunks it in a container of water and doesn't get shocked and the light doesn't short out. a friend saw it at the overland park convention center in july. the guy demonstrating sprayed thes stuff in an electric drill and put the drill under water while it was running and there were no ill affects. my interest is spraying the stuff inside my cordless power tools to keep out moisture. it's also supposed to clean and lubricate guns and it doesn't attract dirt and it doesn't gum up in cold weather. he said the military uses the stuff. can anyone validate these claims?

I'll bet he didn't do a test run without to show his product made one bit of difference.

It sounds a lot like WD-40.

I have been told that pure water does not conduct electricity, just the impurities found in most water.
